Watch Commander GSOC- Part Time

Major Responsibilities

Provides risk and threat monitoring and assessment at the International Monetary Fund owned and leased properties in the greater Washington D.C area by monitoring security, fire, building management alarms, as well as the access control, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems, while also monitoring and communicating risks and threats in the greater Washington DC area. Accomplish tasks in accordance with standard procedures and protocols established for the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC).

Specific Supervisory Duties
  • Participate in developing and maintaining safety programs.
  • Participate in developing and maintaining operational procedures.
  • Provide site-specific initial On-the-job training (OJT) and periodic refresher training to each employee.
  • Maintain and enforce uniform and appearance standards as outlined in the GardaWorld Security Employee Handbook and Post Orders.
  • Meet all contractual scheduled hours. Minimize and seek to eliminate overtime.
  • Enforce GardaWorld Security policies as outlined in the GardaWorld Security Employee handbook and the worksite Post Orders.
  • All other duties as directed by immediate supervisor and/or management.

Education: Two years of college or Associate Degree preferred. H.S Diploma/GED acceptable with applicable experience.

Experience: 2-5 years hands on experience in an operation’s center environment. This can include a commercial alarm-monitoring center, law enforcement operations center, security command center, engineering systems control or monitoring center, customer service, or technical support help desk.
