As a Security Officer – Access Control you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

• Set schedule: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Saturday - Tuesday (32HRS) OR 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Saturday & Sunday (24HRS)

Responsibilities of a Security Badging Specialist:

• Process employee, contractor, and visitor badges in accordance with established security protocols and access control policies.
• Maintain accurate records and databases related to credentialing, identity management, and access authorization.
• Operate and manage electronic access control and badging systems.
• Ensure compliance with all security, privacy, and confidentiality requirements.
• Produce accurate, audit-ready documentation and records.
• Provide professional customer service support to employees, contractors, visitors, and business partners.
• Assist with security-related projects, reporting, and administrative functions as assigned.
• Adheres to all directives, policies, & procedures without failure and willing/able to effectively communicate/escalate all questions or concerns.
• Maintain a professional and secure work environment while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications of a Security Badging Specialist:

• Minimum of 2 years of successful experience as a security professional in a public-facing role such as Concierge Security Officer, Lobby Officer or similar customer service-oriented security positions.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred.
• Experience with secure database management, data extraction, record maintenance, and confidentiality practices preferred.
• Ability to complete Access Control and Badging System training and demonstrate proficiency in credentialing software platforms.
• Possess a professional, organized, and detail-oriented work ethic.
• Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
• Strong computer / technology skills needed for this position
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process.
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
