Business Intelligence Analyst II – Building Scalable Analytics for Guarding Services US
The Business Intelligence Analyst II (BIA II) is a strong individual contributor responsible for driving foundational analytics across Guarding Services US. This role bridges business operations and the Enterprise Data Platform, transforming available data into meaningful, actionable insights.
This individual will take ownership of descriptive analytics, KPI development, and recurring reporting needs, helping establish a reliable and scalable analytics foundation for the business. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in SQL and Power BI, comfortable working with structured data, and motivated to proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting, and business visibility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analytics & Insight Development
- Lead end-to-end analysis projects using enterprise data (Snowflake, dbt models, ingested sources such as Fivetran pipelines)
- Translate business questions into structured analysis and clear outputs
- Develop, define, and maintain core KPIs aligned to Guarding Services US operations
- Identify trends, anomalies, and performance drivers across operational datasets
- Provide clear “so what” insights to business stakeholders and leadership
- Reporting & Data Product Development
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and reports
- Develop reusable datasets and semantic layers to support consistent reporting
- Optimize data models for performance, usability, and clarity within Power BI
- Ensure reports are intuitive, reliable, and aligned to business workflows
- Data Modeling & Quality
- Apply strong SQL skills to explore, validate, and shape data for analytics use
- Partner with data engineering to refine models in Snowflake/dbt when needed
- Proactively identify and address data quality issues
- Implement validation checks and monitoring to improve trust in data outputs
- Contribute to consistent metric definitions and data standards
- Business Partnership
- Partner closely with Guarding Services US stakeholders to support recurring and ad hoc analytical needs
- Translate operational processes into measurable metrics and reporting structures
- Support decision-making through data-backed insights and recommendations
- Build strong relationships across operations, finance, and leadership teams
- Team Contribution & Leadership
- Lead small-to-medium analysis initiatives independently
- Collaborate across BI, data engineering, and business teams
- Support and mentor junior analysts by sharing best practices and reviewing work.
- Contribute to improving BI team standards, documentation, and processes
Your Qualifications:
- Required
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation
- Strong experience with Power BI, including:
- Data modeling
- DAX calculations
- Dashboard/report design
- Solid understanding of structured data and relational data modeling concepts.
- Experience working with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake or similar)
- Ability to independently manage analytical workstreams from intake to delivery
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights
- Preferred
- Experience working within a modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, etc.)
- Familiarity with medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)
- Experience defining and standardizing KPIs across business functions
- Exposure to data quality frameworks or governance practices
- Experience working with operational or field-based business units
