The Technical Business Analyst on our Business Applications Support (BAS) team plays a crucial role in how we manage tasks across the company. This position goes beyond gathering requirements—it's about overseeing each step from request intake to delivering solutions. The main priority is to ensure every request is correctly understood, routed, designed, and executed with both business goals and scalable technology in mind.

As we build a centralized approach for managing and responding to requests, this role will help shape how quick fixes, automation efforts, and larger projects are processed within our organization. You'll be at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, working closely with stakeholders to transform ideas into robust, scalable, data-driven solutions. By utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform, you'll modernize existing processes and guarantee that all underlying data remains organized, reliable, and able to grow with our needs.

Your Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, challenges, and improvement opportunities
  • Analyze workflows to identify inefficiencies, data gaps, and scalability opportunities beyond basic requirements gathering
  • Design, build, and deliver solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with enterprise systems, including SharePoint, SQL databases, APIs, and other platforms
  • Design, develop, and support ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources
  • Validate, transform, and optimize datasets using SQL and related tools to ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Enable reporting, dashboards, applications, and automations with clean, well‑structured data
  • Lead system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), including scenario development and issue resolution
  • Ensure solutions meet functional requirements and maintain data integrity through testing and deployment
  • Establish and support best practices for Power Platform governance, security, and environment management
  • Act as a liaison between business users, developers, and data teams
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business‑friendly language and actionable technical solutions

Your Qualifications:
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to pass an extensive screening process
  • Strong business analysis and requirements gathering capabilities, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with complex formulas, data analysis, data validation, and managing large datasets
  • Experience working with SQL, including writing queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, with a primary focus on Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Ability to design and build workflows, applications, and automation solutions that improve business processes
  • Understanding of data structures, data flows, and system integrations across multiple platforms
  • Experience with data preparation and ETL concepts, including extracting, transforming, and loading data for reporting and automation
  • Ability to work with and connect data sources such as SharePoint, Excel, Dataverse, and SQL databases
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess requests, identify root causes, and define scalable solutions
  • Experience supporting or participating in testing efforts, including SIT and UAT validation
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
  • Ability to manage work from intake through delivery within a structured process or operating model
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills

Preferred Skills:
  • Foundational understanding of coding and scripting concepts
  • Experience using Python to automate ad hoc or repetitive tasks such as data processing, file handling, or API interactions
  • Experience working with integrations or middleware tools (e.g., Boomi or similar platforms)
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or other HR/ERP platforms
  • Exposure to Power BI or other reporting and visualization tools
  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments
