Business Intelligence Manager – Lead Data Strategy for a High-Growth Video Monitoring DivisionAre you a people-first data leader ready to modernize BI infrastructure and drive real business impact? ECAM, the video monitoring division of GardaWorld, is looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to lead our analytics transformation. In this role, you’ll work remotely in the United States, managing a team of analysts, own the BI roadmap, and serve as the strategic link between operations and insights.
We’re moving from legacy SQL Server reporting to a Snowflake-powered future—and we need a leader who can guide that transition while enhancing our Power BI environment. You’ll work directly with ECAM leadership to shape data strategy, deliver actionable reporting, and foster a data-driven culture that supports growth, customer experience, and operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy
- Manage and mentor a team of analysts across a range of experience levels; set clear goals, foster growth, and instill strong analytical and business practices.
- Develop and execute a BI roadmap in alignment with ECAM’s strategic priorities and our global BI architecture.
- Act as a translator between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly understood, well-scoped, and successfully delivered.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary BI liaison for ECAM leadership, ensuring a proactive and service-oriented experience for stakeholders.
- Lead discovery sessions and ongoing check-ins to understand evolving business needs, identify new opportunities, and promote adoption of BI tools and insights.
Platform Modernization
- Oversee the ongoing migration of ECAM’s BI stack from SQL Server to Snowflake, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum value.
- Champion best practices in data modeling, ingestion, and reporting design during and after the migration.
- Leverage Power BI to deliver impactful dashboards, reports, and self-service experiences.
Governance & Standards
- Establish and maintain consistent standards for metrics definitions, dashboarding, and data documentation.
- Monitor report usage and data health to ensure accuracy, reliability, and security.
- Coordinate with the global BI team to align with enterprise-wide governance, architecture, and compliance standards (SOC 2 aligned).

Your Qualifications:
Required
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related roles.
- 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring analysts or cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on expertise with Power BI, SQL, Data Modeling and enterprise data systems.
- Experience working in or managing migration to Snowflake, or strong exposure to modern cloud data platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to engage directly with stakeholders, uncover requirements, and translate into actionable reporting or data products.
- Comfortable managing legacy systems while architecting modern BI workflows.
- Background in a high-velocity operations, security, logistics, or services business.
- Experience in ETL/ELT workflows; exposure to tools like Fivetran or ADF a plus.
- Familiarity with role-based access, security compliance, and data governance frameworks.
- Degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree a plus.

- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise with Power BI, SQL, and data modeling; experience working with Snowflake or other modern cloud-based data warehouses.
- Team Leadership & Development: Strong people leadership skills with a track record of mentoring analysts, fostering collaboration, and building high-performing teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Skilled in translating business needs into technical requirements and building trusted relationships across business functions.
- Governance & Data Quality Management: Experience implementing data governance frameworks, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with security standards.
