Transform Data into Executive-Level Insights | Business Intelligence Analyst!
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for turning data into actionable insights that drive business decisions by providing analysis and reporting to meet the needs of multiple GardaWorld Security Services departments. This role requires a subject-matter expert in efficient information retrieval, with the ability to analyze large datasets, design and maintain insightful dashboards, and develop reporting solutions that empower management and stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. A typical day in this role might have the BI Analyst building a Power BI report one minute, running a query for a field representative the next minute, and having conversations with a C-Suite Executive about new report requirements the next. This is part of a highly visible team. The BI Analyst will work closely with various departments and levels to understand their needs and deliver accurate, timely, and impactful reports. We’re seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in Business Intelligence, capable of driving strategic initiatives and delivering high-impact results.

- Provide data research and compilation by working with Branch and Corporate staff to ensure data collection is complete and timely.
- Develop actionable reports, interactive dashboards, ad hoc requests, that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement in current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems.
- Monitor scheduled reports and jobs to ensure timely completion per predetermined schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, recommend, and develop analytical reports that reveal underlying trends and insights not readily apparent to end users.
- Creates detailed documentation required for analytics and reporting.
- Serves as an embedded BI partner who works directly with departments, business owners, and field leaders to understand their processes, identify opportunities, and design solutions that are practical, accurate, and scalable.
- Able to lead or facilitate meetings and presentations with stakeholders or team members, ensuring discussions stay on track and outcomes are clear.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- SAP Business Objects experience is a plus
- Experience researching problems, digging deep, and finding solutions
- Prior experience with compliance, internal audits, and/or documentation is a plus.
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Able to pass an extensive screening process
- Add additional qualifications as needed/required.
Your Skills and Competencies:
- 5 years MS SQL Server experience.
- Experience developing Power BI reports, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling techniques
- Knowledge of Data Modeling Concepts.
- Familiarity with SnowFlake a plus.
- Organizational skills to plan, organize, and prioritize workload and meet multiple deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent Excel skills required.
