Shift & Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in McLean, VA. This role involves managing all administrative human resource functions for our branch team.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Management:
Interact positively with applicants
Manage applicant tracking system steps and statuses
Screen and interview candidates, extend job offers, conduct new-employee orientations
Administer drug screens and background checks
Schedule employee orientation and enroll in Learning Management System
Communicate benefits to new hires and during open enrollment
Review training hours reports for payroll accuracy
Maintain candidate records in WinTeam
Employee Management:
Build and maintain employment records
Manage uniform inventory and orders
Verify licenses and compliance
Issue employee name badges
Process terminations and respond to unemployment claims
Monitor driver compliance and maintain data integrity
Employee Relations:
Address employee complaints and conflicts
Advise on workplace conduct and behavior
Handle disciplinary actions and union grievances
Other Duties:
Coordinate employee engagement efforts
Maintain OSHA documentation and support EEO-1 reporting
Communicate employment law changes
Facilitate safety and workers compensation programs
Support walk-in applicants and employees
Qualifications
High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR management or related field desired
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume HR environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Tech-savvy with experience in various systems
Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
