Business Intelligence Analyst


Position Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for turning data into actionable insights that drive business decisions by providing analysis and reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis to meet the needs of multiple GWSS departments. This role requires a subject-matter expert in efficient information retrieval, with the ability to analyze large datasets, design and maintain insightful dashboards, and develop reporting solutions that empower management and stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. The BI Analyst will work closely with various departments and levels to understand their needs and deliver accurate, timely, and impactful reports. The analyst must represent GardaWorld’s Core Values: Integrity, Trust, Vigilance, and Respect.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide data research and compilation by working with Branch and Corporate staff to ensure data collection is complete and timely.
  • Create and produce actionable reports, interactive dashboards, ad hoc requests, etc. that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement in current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems.
  • Establish key performance metrics and implement strategies for their continued improvement.
  • Assist in compiling and publishing HR performance metrics according to the assigned operating rhythm.
  • Assist in compiling and publishing organizational reporting according to a predetermined frequency.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent Excel skills required.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of SQL programming preferred (SSMS/ETL).
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency with intermediate to advanced Excel skill set.
  • Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and data modeling techniques.
  • SAP Web Intelligence experience is a plus.
  • Experience researching problems, digging deep, and finding solutions.
  • Prior experience with compliance, internal audits, and/or documentation is a plus.


Additional Requirements:

  • Pass an extensive background screening, which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state, and federal), drug tests, aptitude tests, skills assessments, interviews, and personality profiles (behavioral assessments).
  • Tech-savvy with experience in both proprietary and mass-market systems.  
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Salary: Starting at $60,000.00 / year
