The Benefits Administrator is responsible for the management and administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits. This role involves maintaining accurate records, assisting employees with benefits-related inquiries, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Benefits Administrator will play a crucial role in educating employees about their benefits and supporting the HR team in various benefits-related tasks.

  • Work Site Location: St. Louis, MO
  • Set Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work.

Your Responsibilities
  • Administer various employee benefits programs, such as: group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, and other employee benefits.
  • Maintain the shared email inbox and phone calls and answer questions or concerns from employees about their benefits.
  • Educate employees on benefits and explain the benefits of the self-enrollment system.
  • Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction.
  • Assist field HR staff with benefit inquiries.
  • Process various daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Maintain National Medical Support Order (NMSO) processing.
  • Process life claims and work with beneficiaries to submit paperwork.
  • Assist in processing short-term disability claims.
  • Assist with benefits such as open enrollment planning, communication, and implementation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications:
  • Previous administration or HR experience, as well as previous experience in Benefits, is highly preferable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Outstanding analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Microsoft Excel, Dynamics, Word, PowerPoint
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to pass an extensive screening process, including a drug screen and background check.
