Shift & Hours: 2nd (2:00PM - 10:00PM) or 3rd (10:00PM - 6:00AM) **1st shifts available**

Job Responsibilities specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:
  • Provides assistance in emergency and non-emergency situations
  • Investigate and document (both electronically and written) safety hazards, incidents and criminal activities.
  • Proactively patrols assigned areas and performs all security related tasks, ensuring life safety standards are maintained.
  • Administers initial first aid as appropriate and to the level of training attained.
  • Intercedes in disputes between individuals by using verbal de-escalation techniques and skills to diffuse potentially violent employee, or visitor situations. Physically manages combative, violent persons without hesitation using techniques taught in training.
  • Maintain mental clarity and composure when responding to critical situations.
General Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients
  • Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
  • Respond quickly to critical situations
  • Ability to read and write detailed reports
  • Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards

Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:
  • Must have a degree (associates or higher) concentrated in criminal justice, police science, security administration and related fields OR formerly qualified in disciplines such as law enforcement; career military/military police; police academy graduate; corrections officer; federal agency officer; military elite forces.
  • Have a minimum of one (1) year of armed work experience which may include military and/or law enforcement experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of unarmed guard experience is a plus.
  • Must pass an LEAI Assessment.
  • Must complete certification to carry an approved less-lethal alternative and mandatory state requirements for armed license.
  • Must complete a standard NRA course OR government-required live-fire testing.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record per GardaWorld policy.
General Qualifications to work in physical security at GardaWorld include:
  • Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
  • Pass an extensive screening process.
